900,000 shares (20% of the capital) of Lomsko Pivo (

) were offered today at a closed mixed auction on the BSE. 834,950 shares changed hands in 147 transactions, market orders were placed at 3.78 leva/share.

Limited orders are at levels between 3.61 and 4.25 leva/share. A total of 250,000 shares (27.78% )were placed at 4 leva.

At the beginning of the week the company announced that negotiations for the sale of 51% of the capital are on their way. Lomsko Pivo will probably have a new majority shareholder by mid-2008.

At the beginning of 2008 the company plans to establish a subsidiary in Romania in order to meet the demand of smaller distributors in the country. The brewery plans export to Romania and other countries in the EU to come to nearly 30% of production.

The company has ensured more than 70% of the barley necessary for 2008 production at prices lower than the market price. As a result Lomsko Pivo expects a hike in both revenues and profit next year.

Shares are traded at levels between 3.90 and 4.08 leva this morning.
