Corporate news around the newly listed companies on BSE is keeping trade “alive” in the last days of 2007. It became clear today that secondary trade with shares of Trace Group Hold starts Saturday, and shares of Zarneni Hrani will be floated on Monday.

The blue chip indicator SOFIX was the only advancing index today, adding 0.10% to 1718.07 points. BG40 lost the most – 0.6% to 515.83.

The branch BGREIT fell below its base 100 points. The indicator lost 0.53% today to 99.8 points, while BGTR30 declined 0.03% to 1084.55.

BSE's total turnover reached 13.904 mln leva (7.109 mln euros), after transactions of large volumes on several positions. 1,046,700 shares of Transcard (15% of capital) changed hands in one deal at 4.001 leva/share.

Of 142 active issues, 57 advanced, and 17 remained unchanged.

Petrol rose 9.77% to 4.83 leva at a turnover of 36,416 shares. The price varied between 4.398 and 5.02 leva today.

Trade was also very active on the position of Oil and Gas Exploration and Production. 105,284 shares changed hands at between 13.7 and 13.89 leva, which means the average price added 0.07% to 13.75 leva.

Chimimport gained 0.19% to 15.83 leva at a turnover of 96,817 shares. The price varied between 15.65 and 15.89 leva/share.

Bulgarian River Shipping AD also ended on positive territory. The market value of the Ruse-based company rose 0.94%, with the average price settling at 9.7 leva.

The biggest loser on the Unofficial Market of Equities was Balgarska Roza Sevtopolis, which fell 2.58% to 3.02 leva.

Industrial Holding Bulgaria lost 0.36% to an average of 10.97 leva at a turnover of 19,130 shares. The price varied between 10.88 and 11.05 leva.

Stara Planina Hold fell 0.62% to 7.94 leva. Bids are currently between 7.9 and 7.92 leva and asks are between 7.93 and 8.1 leva.

Among issues attracting significant interest on the Unofficial Market today were Advance Terrafund REIT (-0.49% to 2.03 leva), Bulgaria Real Estate Properties REIT (0% at an average of 2 leva), and Elana Agricultural Land Opportunity REIT (-0.46% to 2.16 leva).
