By end of October, the market share of insureres Euroins and BulIns has increased the most, according to data released by the Financial Supervision Commission.

Both companies boosted their market share by 0.31% and 0.29%, respectively, in just one month, and currently hold 4.97% and 12.2% of the market.

A total of nine companies improved their position on the market in October, two remained unchanged (Municipal Insurance Company and UBB AIG), and eight report declines.

Insurance and Reinsurance Company DZI, Energia and Unica report large gains, while AIG Bulgaria, Armeetz, Vikotoria and DSK Guarantee improved only slightly.

The gross premium income on the market of general insurance stood at 944.875 mln leva (483.106 mln euros) at the end of October. Claims paid within the period came to 37.433 mln leva (19.139 mln euros).
