Flat Prices in Bucharest to Advance by up to 20% in '08

In 2008, the price for flats is expected to advance by up to 20 per cent, said representatives of real estate consulting companies, Nine o' Clock reports.
They said that over the past two years, the pace of launching residential projects “on paper” was much higher than completion, and currently, Bucharest needs 300,000 lodging spaces.
Thus, in case of price per square meter for new flats, the analysts from Colliers provide an average raise by 15 per cent, whereas the representatives of Esop consulting company affirm that we should expect advances ranging between 10 to 20 per cent.
Thus, in 2008, the average price for one built square meter will be EUR 1,700.
