Torgotem To Float Up To 1 Mln Shares On BSE

Kyustendil-based Torgotem Jsc will float up to 1 mln shares for secondary trade on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. At the end of 2007 the Financial Supervision Commission approved the company's prospectus.
Shares will be floated either at the end of January or the beginning of February. According to the prospectus, the price will be determined by the market and the free-float will be around 30%.
Torgotem Jsc is the only Bulgarian producer of complete professional kitchen equipment for restaurants, bars, canteens, etc. The company's core activity includes design, production, trade and maintenance of the equipment.
Last year Torgotem exported most of its production, and this will most likely be the tendency this year.
According to the prospectus, Jan – Oct 2007 profit stood at 1.192 mln leva (609,460 euros) last year, versus 1.016 mln leva (519,472 euros) for the entire 2006. Revenues from core activity came to 11.841 mln leva (6.054 mln euros), compared with 10.823 mln (5.533 mln euros) in 2006.
