Shareholders in Insurance and Reinsurance Bulstrad will gather at a general meeting today (January 28). They will be discussing purchases of shares of insuring company Bulgarian Properties as well as life insurer Bulgarian Properties from Wiener Staedtische Versicherung AG worth a total of 22.144 mln leva (11.322 mln euros).

Bulstrad is offering to pay Wiener Staedtische 14.53 mln leva for a majority stake in insurer Bulgarian properties (9.168 mln shares, 98.3% of the capital). The company also intends to seek shareholders' approval for the acquisition of another 98% from the capital of life insurer Bulgarian Properties, for which it will offer the Austrian group 7.614 mln leva.

Trade with rights issued in the capital increases of FairPlay Properties REIT and Sopharna Buildings REIT starts on BSE today.

FairPlay Properties intends to raise capital from 50.700 mln leva to 60.840 mln leva (31.106 mln euros) via issue of 10.14 mln new shares. The company issued 50.7 mln rights, 5 of which will entitle to the subscription of 1 new share at an issue value of 2.25 leva. The bourse code assigned to the rights is R5FPP.

Sopharma Buildings REIT is filing its initial mandatory capital increase from 500,000 to 650,000 leva (332,339 euros). The company has issued 150,000 rights, each of which entitles to the subscription of one new share.

The rights from the initial capital increase of City Properties REIT will be traded on BSE by January 29, and the final dates for trade with rights of FIA Bulgaria and Petar Karaminchev are respectively February 4 and 6.

FIA Bulgaria will be raising capital from 700,000 leva to 1.225 mln leva (approx. 626,332 euros) via issue of 525,000 shares with a face value of 1 lev, and issue price of 9.31 leva.There will be a total of 700,000 rights, 4 of which will entitle to the subscription of 3 shares. The bourse code assigned is R1FIA.

Petar Karaminchev us planning a capital hike from 662,000 leva to 3.31 mln leva (1.692 mln euros) via issue of 2.648 mln new shares. The proportion between rights and new shares will be 1:4. One person can subscribe a minimum of 4 new shares and a maximum equal to the number of shares they own multiplied by 4.

The capital will only be raised if at least 2.5 mln new shares are subscribed and paid for.

February 1 (Friday) is the final date for trade with shares of Aroma, entitling to participation in the forthcoming general meeting. The company plans to raise capital for 5.164 mln leva (2.640 mln euros) to 15.492 mln leva (7,920 mln euros) using own funds.

Last week SOFIX lost 5.85% to 1402.76 points, and BG40 fell 2.78% to 423.55.
