Brokers: Low Turnovers and No Significant Changes This Week

As usual, on Monday Profit.bg asked three market participants to share their expectations for trade on BSE in the following five days. Here is what they told us:
Severin Vertigov, portfolio manager, BenchMark Asset Management
There are no important corporate events scheduled this week. The auction for unused rights issued by Doverie United Holding may attract some attention on Tuesday.
In my opinion, the declines which swept the global markets on Friday will not affect BSE. We are about to see a week of low turnovers and no significant stock price changes.
Ivo Petrov, broker, ABC Investments
I don't expect any price jumps or declines this week. Many investors suffered significant losses in January and they will not be coming back any time soon, others are still preferring to wait and see what happens.
Buyers' return expectations have increased significantly and the companies' reports are under detailed scrutiny. Investors are afraid of losing their money and I expect negative news to be making the headlines.
I am a moderate optimist as far as the market development is considered. I expect indexes to slowly add 3-5%, as well as less daily fluctuations and a slight increase in turnovers. Taking into account how the latest IPOs went, I think the companies, which are about to file such in the near future have to rethink the volumes and discounts they plan to offer to investors.
The upcoming introduction of Xetra will completely change trade but will have an overall positive effect.
Razvigor Hristov, Investment consultant, KD Securities
My expectations are of low liquidity and increased volatility. There will be no significant corporate news that may influence trade. Most investors will be closely watching the global markets.
