Total trade between Serbia and Slovenia in 2007 amounted to USD 1.2bn in 2007, portalino reported.

This represents a 52.6 percent increase on the 2006 figure, according to the Chamber of Commerce (PKS).

According to the PKS data, export from Serbia to Slovenia in 2007 rose by 61 percent on 2006 to USD 411.3mn, while imports came to a total of USD 705.7mn, 48 percent up on the previous year.

The largest importers of Slovenian products last year were Gorenje Belgrade, Krka farm from Novi Sad, the Jub paint factory from Šimanovac, and Livnica from Kikinda.

The largest exporters from Serbia to Slovenia in 2007 were, according to PKS data, Impol Seval from Sevojna, U.S.Steel, Livnica from Kikinda, Zastava Upholstery from Kragujevac, Metal from Ruma, and HIP Petrohemija.
