A Strong Session for the Capital Market

We saw a very positive trade session on BSE today with relatively high turnovers. 56% of the active positions and three of the indexes closed on positive territory.
SOFIX rose 2.07% to 1223.82 points and BG40 added 0.61% to 332.95 points. BGTR30 climbed 1.13% to 810.57 points.
BGREIT was again the only index not in unison with the others. The real estate investment trusts indicator fell 0.3% to 94.24 points.
Today's total turnover was twice as high as yesterday's, at 7.88 mln leva (4.02 mln euros). 73 (56%) out of the 131 active positions ended on positive territory. The value of block and other agreed transactions stood at 1.59 mln leva.
After yesterday's 2.6% slide, FIBank gained 4.61% at a turnover of 83,640 shares, which ranked the bank's stock among the highest liquid on BSE once again.
The decline yesterday was caused by the rumors that the bank was experiencing financial problems and was facing bankruptcy. The Bulgarian National Bank stated that the banking system in the country is stable and that it would not allow any rumors to cause panic.
Chimimport added 4.12% to 10.37 leva. The day was very positive for most companies in the portfolio of the Varna-based economic group. Central Cooperative Bank climbed 2.75% to an average of 5.23 leva, while Oil and Gas Exploration and Production advanced 3.24% to 6.38 leva.
The company has appointed a general meeting June 30. Shareholders will vote a proposal to give the company management the authorization to raise capital to up to 20 mln leva in the following 5 years.
Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria also closed on positive territory. The holding added 1.59% to 2.55 leva/share.
Elma continues to advance, gaining 1.91% to 4.8 leva today at a turnover of 700 shares.
Investors showed a lot of interest in Web Media Group. 6,950 shares changed hands at an average of 2.33 leva today, which is 12.02% up from opening.
The road infrastructural companies added more than 5% - Holding Patishta ( +5.42% to an average of 1036.24 leva), Moststroy (+5.57% to an average of 138.58 leva) and Trace Group Hold (+5.32% to an average of 130.98 leva).
Neochim gained 2.91% to an average of 71.02 leva and Kaolin added 2.31% to 11.95 leva.
Monbat's decision for capital increase and dividend distribution coincided with a 1.2% gain on the position to 26.08 leva.
Orgachim, on the other hand, depreciated by 3.58% to 344.18 leva.
