Poll: GERB Is Most Trusted among Political Parties

According to Gallup International, the trust in Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) is highest among the political parties - 37 per cent, showed data of a poll made by the agency in November presented on Sunday at the BTA Press Club.
GERB is followed by the ruling coalition members Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) with 24 per cent and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) with 11 per cent, Ataka nationalist party with 10 per cent, the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (IMRO) with 8 per cent, the rightist Union of Democratic Forces (UDF) with 7 per cent, Gergyovden with six per cent, ruling coalition member National Movement for Surge and Stability (NMSS) with six per cent and right wing Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB) with 5 per cent.
In November, the rightist Union of Free Democrats (UFD) was most mistrusted by voters - 86 per cent, followed by DSB, 85 per cent; MRF, 84 per cent; NMSS, 83 per cent; Bulgarian Popular Union, 82 per cent; UDF, 82 per cent; Ataka, 79 per cent; Gergyovden, 78 per cent; IMRO and Bulgarian New Democracy (BND), 76 per cent each; BSP, 66 per cent; GERB, 44 per cent.
According to 27 per cent of Bulgarians, the unemployment will increase, while 39 per cent believe that it will stay at the same level and other 12 per cent think that it will be reduced.
According to the poll, 23 per cent of the Bulgarians are politically active, they watch and listen to political shows, read newspapers and have motivation to vote. Of them, 59 per cent live in villages and small towns; 57 per cent of them are above 60 years of age, 35 per cent are retired, and the average income of the group is 471 Bulgarian leva.
