Investors on BSE Still Wary after Election Results

Three of the indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended today's session in positive territory. These included SOFIX (+0.44%, to 354.86 points), BG40 (+1.00%, to 101.13 points) and BG TR30 (+1.07%, to 267.12 points). BG REIT was the only decliner on the day slipping by 1.56%, to 39.71 points.
The expected impulse on BSE following the results of the parliamentary elections in Bulgaria proved to be a short-lived one, that failed to continue until the end of the session.
BSE's overall turnover came to nearly 811,000 leva. The bond market accounted for 316,000 leva of the figure. A total of 56 issues were traded on the day with 27 of the stocks posting price gains.
Holding Roads' stock price went up by nearly 3%, to 2.63 leva per share. Trace Group Hold and Moststroy advanced by 8.22% and 8.50%, to 48.70 leva and 4.34 leva per share, respectively. The traded volume on the position of Moststroy amounted to only 25 shares.
First Investment Bank's stock price rose by 2.35%, to 2.18 leva per share after 25,442 shares traded hands. The stock gained more than 14% in early trading. Central Cooperative Bank lost 1.38%, to 1.21 leva per share. A total of 31,614 shares were traded on the day. Bulgarian-American Credit Bank's was traded in thin volumes, while the stock price remained unchanged.
Kaolin closed 2.35% up, at 3.48 leva per share. Other advancers on the included Lead & Zinc Complex (+2.77%, to 12.80 leva per share) and Monbat (+1.08%, to 4.70 leva per share).
Nearly 50,000 shares in Billboard traded hands today. The stock appreciated by 2.31%, to 1.33 leva per share.
