Sales of the Ferrari brand in Romania, which includes cars priced from 200,000 to 350,000 euros, have not been hurt by the financial crisis, with the importer's quota for next year, too, having been already sold, Camelia Bazac, general manager of Forza Rossa, told Ziarul Financiar.

Almost one year and a half after the official opening of the first Ferrari showroom in Romania and in SE Europe as well, sales of the Italian brand, one of the world's best known, do not seem to be harmed by the financial crisis.

The impact of the financial crisis over Ferrari sales was minimum. This year, we'll deliver 25 cars. A minor difficulty was registered in terms of financing options. We'll go on inclusively with the opening of a Ferrari Store in Victoria Square toward yearend," Camelia Bazac said.

In the case of Ferrari, one can even say the current economic situation had a positive impact over sales, as the number of clients choosing to acquire such a car is lower. "One of the positive outcomes of the crisis is that it is only the true clients that have remained loyal to the brand. Today, only the true Ferrari fans are investing in such a car," explained Bazac. Ferraris are generally acquired both by fans of the brand and particularly by collectors, as their value rises in time as brand production is low.

The most famous collector in the business sector is Ion Tiriac, owning a Testarossa model since 1991 and a 400 GT since 1976, as well as a new California.
