BSE Indexes Post Second Straight Gain
All four indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended their second straight session in positive territory.
The BG40 index of the most traded stocks advanced by 2.02%, to 125.01 points. While the SOFIX blue-chip index gained 0.62%, to 454.07 points.
BGREIT and BGTR30 added 0.84% and 0.71%, to 49.17 points and 345.73 points, respectively.
BSE's overall turnover exceeded 1 mln leva coming to nearly 1.13 mln leva at the end of the session. The value of the over-the-counter trades topped 704 000 leva as at 2:50 p.m.
A total of 65 issues were traded on the day 38 of the stocks posting price gains.
Stara Planina Hold's stock price went up by 3.49% to 1.90 leva after only 300 shares traded. Synergon Holding advanced by 1.77%, to 2.30 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to 23 400 shares.
The banking stocks ended the day mixed. Decliners included Central Cooperative Bank (-0.47%, to 1.47 leva) and First Investment Bank (-2.00%, to 2.70 leva). Corporate Commercial Bank's stock appreciated by 2.26% to 60.33 leva per share, while the stock price of Bulgarian-American Credit Bank remained unchanged at 17.70 leva per share.
More than 49,000 shares in Chimimport traded hands on the day. The stock appreciated by 3.69% to 2.64 leva per share. Мore than 24,000 preferred shares in the company were also traded on the day. The stock appreciated by 2.55%, to 2.62 leva per share.
Industrial Capital Holding closed 6.72% up at 3.00 leva per share, after 150 shares in the company changed hands on the day. Neochim was also among today's gainers advancing by 5.28%, to 31.90 leva per share.
Ifrastructure stocks ended today's session higher. Holding Roads closed 0.57% up at 2.82 leva per share, while Moststroy gained 0.70%, to 4.35 leva per share.
Trace Group Hold was the biggest gainer after its stock price went up by 2.95% to 73.20 leva per share.
