The last session for the week on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended spectacularly. This can be put down to the trade in Fund Estates' stock. The REIT had signed a preliminary contract for the sale of its business building on Sofia's Rakovski street, it emerged yesterday.

Friday's session kicked off with extremely active trade on the position. The traded volume amounted to 523,000 shares at the end of the day, while the stock price jumped by 14.06% to 0.146 leva per share.

The stock ended Thursday's session at an all-time low of 0.128 leva per share.

Advance Terrafund was also among the actively traded stocks on the day. The shares of the company appreciated by nearly 2% to 1.499 leva per share. The traded volume on the position amounted to 101,000 shares.

BSE's indexes failed to find direction throughout the day. SOFIX (+0.09%, to 421.02 points) and BG REIT (+0.38%, to 49.97 points) ended higher, while BG40 (-0.49%, to 127.77 points) and BG TR30 (-0.52%, to 335.39 points) closed down.

BSE's overall turnover amounted to 4.42 mln leva on Friday. A total of 56 issues were traded on the day with 22 of the companies posting stock price gains.

Most indexes posted weekly gains: SOFIX (+0.47%), BG REIT (+1.22%) и BG TR30 (+0.71%). BG40 was the only decliner for the week slipping by 0.58%.

The indexes post mixed results for July so far. Advancers include SOFIX (+1.75%) and BG40 (+0.96%), while BGREIT (-4.89%) and BG TR30 (-0.59%) are lower for the month.

All four index are higher since the start of the year: SOFIX (+16.19%), BG 40 (+11.39%), BG REIT (+15.27%) and BG TR30 (+10.5%).
