BSE- Sofia announced that Bulgarian River Shipping AD- Ruse has appointed a General shareholders meeting for 21st May 2007 at which an increase in capital will be voted.

The planned increase in capital is from BGN 1.158 million to BGN 28.959 million through issuance of 27.8 million common shares of BGN 1.00 nominal value each at the expense of company’s own resources. Thus each shareholder shall receive 24 free shares.

The shareholders are also to vote profit allocation as well as amendments to the Statute of the company.

The final date for transacting shares of this company on the BSE-Sofia, as a result of which the holder will be entitled to exercise their voting right at the GMS, will be 03.05.2007.

The company has announced a net profit of BGN 2.506 million for 2006, toward BGN 1.719 million for the previous year.

So far today 1465 company shares have been traded at a rates between BGN 240.00 and BGN 290.00 each which is the highest level ever on this position.
