Indexes Closed at Their Lowest Level Since End-March
The main indexes on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange ended today’s trade on a negative territory. SOFIX lost 10.72 points or 0.85% going down to 1,266.04 points, while BG40 dropped 1.68 points or 0.67% to 249.65 points.
These are the lowest levels of the two indicators since end-March.
Total turnover today was 12.688 mln leva.
Chimimport AD-Sofia and Bulgarian Telecommunication Company AD-Sofia ended today’s session in the red losing 1.04% and 0.24% respectively down to 9.51 leva and 12.23 leva/share.
With 148 shares traded Bulgarian River Shipping AD-Ruse registered a 10.68% drop to an average price of 205.54 leva/share. Transactions were made in the 200.05-222.13 leva/share range.
The company announced yesterday it would hold an open auction for the sale of 291,980 shares, representing 25.2066% of its capital between 23 and 27 April. The floor price of one market lot has been set at 180.00 leva (one market lot=1 share).
Bulgaria’s leading holdings Doverie United Holding PLC-Sofia and Stara Planina Hold AD-Sofia also finished the day in the red losing 2.01% and 1.85% of their market capitalization to levels of 7.30 leva and 39.18 leva/share respectively, while Bulgarian Holding Company AD-Sofia and Synergon Holding AD-Sofia registered drops of 2.29% and 0.40% respectively down to 3.83 leva and 9.96 leva/share.
Energoremont Holding AD-Sofia’s stock gained 5.49% reaching an average price of 520.90 leva/share. On transaction was made at 548.00 leva/share.
The company will hold a general meeting of its shareholders on 30 May to discuss a proposal to increase its capital from 349,340 leva to 3,842,740 leva using own funds.
The shares of Mel Invest Holding AD-Sofia added 16.24% to 2.29 leva/share with 3,539 lots traded. 4.99% of the capital of A.V. Buildings Ltd-Sofia changed hands in two transactions at 4.10 leva/share.
