SOFIX Lost 1.63% after BTC’s Drop
Today was another day of massive selling on BSE. Of 130 traded issues, 75 (58.5%) closed down, and only 35 (27%) were in the green in the end of today’s session.
SOFIX lost 1.63% to 1,245.21 points chiefly due to the drop in BTC’s stock, while BG40 was down 0.50% to 247.40 points.
Novator and Viva Ventures GmbH today signed an agreement with AIG Global Investment Group to sell 65% of the Bulgarian Telecommunication Company for 11.25 leva/share (5.75 euro/share) bringing the total value of the deal to 2.112 bln leva (1.080 bln euro). The price includes the recently proposed dividend of 0.55 leva (0.28 euro)/share.
The trade in BTC stock was stopped for about an hour in the beginning of today’s session. After its restarting the shares of Bulgaria’s dominant telco lost 6.67% to an average level of 11.20 leva/share with 205,052 shares traded (most of them in one transaction).
The shares of CB Bulgarian American Credit Bank AD dropped 2.78% to an average level of 67.51 leva/share. Biovet was down 2.62% to 17.07 leva/share.
Sopharma and Bulgarska Roza-Sevtopolis AD lost 1.11% and 1.29% respectively to 7.14 leva and 6.11 leva/share.
Stara Planina Hold went down 1.89% to 28.99 leva/share with 1,120 lots traded.
Meanwhile Chimimport added 1.14% to 9.80 leva/share with 13,591 lots traded. The shares of Orgachim and Monbat were also up adding 0.87% and 0.85% respectively to 198.23 and 9.55 leva/share.
With only 100 share straded Neochim went down 4.25% to 40.56 leva/share.
The stock of FairPlay Properties REIT gained 8.26% today to 1.18 leva/share with 33,000 lots changing hands. Meanwhile Sofia Commerce-Zalozhni Kashti AD lost 8% to an average price of 5.75 leva/share with 10,100 shares traded.
Turnover on BSE today was over 7.4 mln leva. BTC stocks accounted for around 1/3 of it.
