The initial public offering of First Investment Bank and the forthcoming general shareholders’ meeting will be in the spotlight of investors’ interest this week. Profit.bg traditionally asked three market players to share their expectations about the coming trading sessions. Here’s what they told us:

Bozhidar Pavlov, Bora Invest AD

“The preallocated but not fully utilized initial resource of Corporate Commercial Bank’s IPO will go to investments in leading companies from the two main indexes inevitably resulting in their increase”.

“The enormous oversubscription in the last auction will make many investors consider whether to participate in the next auction – FIB’s or to fill their portfolios mostly with quality shares”.

Veselin Morov, Naba Invest

”In the next couple of weeks trade on BSE will be subordinated to the desire of big part of the investors to accumulate free cash to take part in the IPOs. This will shift the focus away from the public companies, some of which have published good reports and interesting corporate news”.
”I expect active trade this week due to the major oversubscription of CCB’s IPO, I don’t rule out new records of local indexes”.

Mincho Minchev, CB Investbank AD

”The culmination of FIB’s IPO will happen this week, which I expect to be quite successful considering the big interest in CCB”.

“The rest of the free funds investors hold will largely be devoured by the biggest emission at the moment – FIB’s, and I don’t expect any major movement on the market, because growth was already registered in the last day of last week”.
