The number of vacation properties in Bulgaria’s Black Sea resorts increased 83% to 35,000 units in the period 2005-2006, Colliers data, published during the Balkan Real Estate Conference in Sofia, showed.
Last year alone the number of houses in the winter resorts increased 132% to 18,000 units with the highest growth registered in Bansko, Pamporovo, and Borovetz.
The price range of local vacation properties varies from 800 to 1,600 euros/sq m, but there are some transactions at 3,000 euros/sq m.
