Three of the four indexes on BSE underwent steep declines today. Both SOFIX and BG40 fell more than 2.5%. The blue chip indicator lost 2.6% to 1659.67 points, but managed to stay above the November 27 low of 1643.37 points.

BG40 couldn't keep above the 500 points, and fell 2.51% to 493.83. The last time the indicator was around those levels was three months ago, on September 21. BGTR30 ended at 1049.36, or 1.59% below its yesterday standing.

BGREIT was the only advancing index, adding 0.75%. However, it still remains below the 100 points, currently at 99.55.

BSE's total turnover reached 68.631 mln leva (35.090 mln euros), block and other reported OTC transactions came to 99.249 mln leva (50.745 mln leva). The large turnovers are mainly due to transaction of 13.079 mln shares of Zarneni Hrani at 4.5 leva.

Of 141 active issues, just 39 advanced.

On the Official Market of Equities, the only gainers were Petrol and Odessos Ship Repair Yard. Petrol rose 2.55% to an average of 5.24 leva at a turnover of 17,764 shares. Odessos Ship Repair Yard's market value grew 0.25% to 312.68 leva/share with just 22 shares changing hands today. The price varied between 303 and 314 leva.

The greatest decliner on BSE's most prestigious segment was Katex, which dropped 7.98% to an average of 15.33 leva.

Chimimport also reports a significant loss of -3.11% to an average of 14.95 leva, after 79,382 shares changed hands.

Stara Planina Hold lost 2.85% to 7.51 leva, at a turnover of 4,205 shares.

Eurohold Bulgaria ended on positive territory. 40,672 shares changed hands at prices between 6.45 and 6.75 leva, or an average of 6.58 leva, which 1.54% up from yesterday.

On the other hand, Euroins lost 0.44% to an average of 15.95 leva.

Trace Group Hold continued to decline. The stock of the Stara Zagora-based holding fell 1.95% today to 275.5 leva.
