The total trading turnover of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) amounted to 34.632 million leva today, compared to 10.018 million leva (5.12 million euro) yesterday. The increase may be put down to the transfer of 3.028 million shares, accounting for 6.92% of the capital of Industrial Holding Bulgaria (IHB), at prices ranging between 7.53 and 7.90 leva per share.

BSE's four major indexes ended the day on positive turf. The SOFIX blue-chip index slipped by 0.06% to 1385.61 points, while the broader BG40 declined by 2.4% to 390.80 ponts, hitting its lowest level since August 2007.

The BGTR30 index of best performers in total return closed 0.63% lower, while the BGREIT index of real estate investment trusts lost 0.93% of its value closing at 100.21 points. A total of 144 companies were traded on BSE today, one more compared to Tuesday.

Only six blue chips ended today's session on positive territory. SOFIX's remaining 10 constituents closed the day with losses.

Petrol's stock depreciatd by 2.95% to 4.93 leva per share. Sopharma ended the day 0.97% lower at 7.15 leva per share. Chimimport and Orgachim lost 0,73% and 2.14% of their value, closing at 10.83 leva and 469.46 leva per share.

Corporate Commercial Bank and First Investment Bank ended Wednesday's session 0.83 and 1.24% down to 91.16 and 9.53 leva per share, respectively. Bulgarian American Credit Bank advanced by 0.79% to 72.79 per share. Central Cooperative Bank's stock gained 3.88% on the day closing at 6.97 per share.

A total of 65,000 shares in Neochom changed hands on Wednesday. The stock appreciated by 4.83% to 59.90 leva per share. Monbat closed 0.71% higher at 28.47 leva per share.

Oil and Gas Exploration and Production's stock added 1.94% to its value closing at 12.35 leva per share. Kremikovtzi's stok price went up by 2.44% to 16.79 per share on the day.
