Sopharma's January-February 2008 Sales Revenue Up 24% Y/Y
The exports sales in US dollar terms of pharmaceutical company Sopharma marked a 121-percent year on year increase in February 2008. The sales revenue of the company for the same month went up by 44% compared to February 2007.
Sopharma's sales revenue for January and February 2008 went up by 24% compared to the corresponding period of 2007, including a 126-percent year on year increase in exports in US dollar terms.
Sopharma booked 362.753 million leva consoldated sales revenue for 2007, up 62% year on year.
The consolidated profit of the company for 2007 amounted to 31.719 million leva, which represents a 20.7-percent increase compared to 2006.
Major shareholders in Sopharma include Sofia AD (25.58%) , Telso AD (23.84%), Telecomplect AD (21.49%) and Gramercy Emerging Markets Fund (17.13 %).
A total of 1,727 shares in Sopharma traded hands on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Wednesday at an average prices of 7.15 leva apiece.
