Turkey's Prime Minister Erdogan to Pay Official Visit to Bulgaria

Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay an official visit to Bulgaria on March 27 and 28 at the invitation of Bulgarian counterpart Sergei Stanishev, the Government Information Service said Tuesday.
Minister of State of Turkey responsible for foreign trade and Co-Chairman of the Bulgarian-Turkish Joint Economic Commission Kursad Tuzmen, Minister of State of Turkey responsible for women Nimet Cubukcu and Minister of Industry and Trade Mehmet Zafer Caglayan are taking part in the Turkish delegation accompanying Erdogan, BTA is reporting.
The business program of the visit will start with a welcoming ceremony at the Alexander Nevski square where a wreath will be laid at the Unknown Soldier Monument. After that the two prime ministers will have one-to-one talks, followed by a plenary session of the two delegations. Around noon, Stanishev and Erdogan will hold a joint news conference.
Later on March 27, the two prime ministers will open a Bulgarian-Turkish business forum and will have lunch with the participants. The Bulgarian side will be represented by Economy and Energy Minister Peter Dimitrov. After that Erdogan will leave for Turgovishte (Northern Bulgaria).
Meetings with ruling coalition partners leaders Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (Simeon II National Movement) and Ahmed Dogan (Movement for Rights and Freedoms) at an official dinner given by Stanishev are also on the agenda of the Turkish Prime Minister's visit.
In the second day of his visit, Erdogan will be received by National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski and President Georgi Purvanov. Later the Turkish Prime Minister will pay a visit to Kurdjali (Southern Bulgaria), after which the Turkish delegation will leave for Ankara.
