BSE Trading Turnover Tops 25 Mln Leva in Last Four Sessions

The trading turnover of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) amounted to 25.485 mln leva (13.03 mln euros) in the period May 7 to 10, Profit.bg data show.
The value of the deals sealed during BSE’s regular trading sessions totaled 19.41 mln leva (9.92 mln euros) in the period, accounting for 76.16% of the total turnover.
The daily turnover on May 8 and 10 stood at around 4 mln leva (2.04 mln euros), the value of the deals sealed on May 7, amounted to 9.12 mln leva (4.66 mln euros).
The number of the daily transactions ranged from 1,340 on Friday to 1,801 on the following day.
A total of 181 stocks were traded on BSE ‘s Official market in the period May 20. The remaining 161 stocks were traded on the Unofficial market. The number of the block deals and/or other registered trades stood at 56.
The broader BG40 index advanced by 0.51% to 320.03 points this week, while the SOFIX blue-chip added 2.06% to 1161.92 points.
