Bond Market Turnover at 32.9 Mln Leva in April

Bonds for 32.922 mln leva (16.83 mln euros) traded hands on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) in April 2008, the monthly bulletin of the bourse showed.
The turnover of the bond market accounted for 9.78% of BSE's overall turnover of 336.6 mln leva (172.1 mln euros) in April.
The value of the bonds traded in March stood at 35.26 mln (18.02 mln euros), while BSE's overall turnover totaled 328 mln leva (167.7 mln euros) for the same month.
The number of deals in bonds stood at 121 in April. All transactions were registered on BSE's Unofficial market. A total of 48 bond issues were traded last month, compared to 50 in March and 40 in February.
Euohold Bulgaria's bond issue was the most liquid in April with 17 transactions, followed by Raiffeisenbank and First Investment Bank's issues with seven transactions each. The numbr of deals in SS Konstantine And Elena Holding's issue stood at six, while Bross Holding and Eurolease Auto saw five deals each.
