Optela-Optical Technologies has changed its name to Optela-Laser Technologies, the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) said.

The following decisions were made at the meeting of the board of directors of the company:

Based on a decision taken at the general shareholders' meeting of Optela-Laser Technologies on June 26, 2008 the board of directors has decided that the capital of the company will be raised from 9.135 mln leva to 10.635 mln leva through the issuing of 1.5 million shares each with 1 and 2 leva par and issue value, respectively.

The company will also issue rights which will enable the existing shareholders to subscribe shares from the new issue. A total of 6.09 rights will grant each shareholder the right to subscribe one share of the new issue.

Populiarna Kasa-95 intermediary will draw up a prospectus for the initial public offering of shares and will organize the capital raise.

The company raised its capital from 315,000 leva to 9.14 mln leva with own funding.

Optela-Laser Technolоgies' stock was last traded at a price of 0.72 leva per share.
