The SOFIX blue-chip index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) posted a weekly gain for the second straight week. Trade, however, remained lackluster over the past five days and the voles are still low.

The SOFIX was the only index to post a gain today advancing by 0.56%, to 369.34 points. BG40 slipped by 0.54%, to 108.28 points.

BG REIT and BG TR30, lost 0.76% and 0.74%, to 46.97 and 279.11 points, respectively, on the day.

SOFIX advanced by 1.67% on a weekly basis, BG 40 lost 0.29%, BG REIT slipped by 0.87%, while BG TR30 shed 0.61% for the week.

Petrol accounted for the bulk of BSE's overall trade today. Equities for nearly 24 mln leva changed hands on BSE today. The traded turnover on the position of Petrol came to 1.73 mln shares. A total of 1.725 mln shares in the company traded hands in a single deal at a price of 11.6 leva apiece, or for a total of 20.01 mln leva.

A total of 92 issues were traded on the day with 51 of the companies posting an increase in stock price.

Three of the stocks included in the calculation of the BG 40 index posted double-digit growth in average price on a weekly basis. Enemona topped the ranking with a weekly gain of 13.33% to an average of 6.97 leva per share.

Polimeri advanced by 13.07% to an average of 1.99 leva per share. The average price of Bulgarian Holding Company's stock went up by 10.38% to 2.87 leva per share over the last five days.

Two companies posted a double-digit drop in average stock price over the week. Moststroy's stock shed 16.54% of its value to an average of 3.33 leva per share. Trade in the shares issued as part of the capital increase of the company kicked off on BSE today.

The new issue amounts to 4,459,760 leva, divided on 4,459,760 shares with 1 leva par value each. The shares were issued as part of the capital increase of the company from 1,114,940 leva to 5,574,700.

Sparky Eltos' stock depreciated by 10.04% on a weekly basis to an average of 2.24 leva per share.
