The major indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) posted gains in the 18th trading session for 2009. The SOFIX blue-chip index advanced by 0.39%, to 291.70 points, while the broader BG40 closed 0.90% higher at 94.68 points.

BGREIT and BGTR30 shed 1.78 and 0.82% of their value, to 43.11 and 215.55 points, respectively.

BSE's overall turnover came to 2.15 mln leva, while the the value of the over-the-counter deals amounted to 991,000 leva.

Corporate Commercial Bank ended the day 7.69% up, at 70.00 leva per share, while Enemona's stock appreciated by 2.97%, to 7.31 leva per share. The State General Reserve Fund of the Sultanate of Oman (SGRF) plans to acquire 30% of the capital of the bank, it emerged yesterday.

Another advancers among the blue chips today was Neochim. The stock of the company appreciated by 3.53%, to 29.01 leva per share. Monbat gained 2.23%, to 4.50 leva per share.

First Investment Bank depreciated by 11.88%, to a record low 1.12 leva per share. Holding Roads shed 3.47%, to 2.17 leva per share, while Chimimport's stock depreciated by 2.35%, to 1.46 leva per share.

The traded volume on the positions of Chimimport, Zarneni Hrani and First Investment Bank exceeded 100,000 shares on the day.

A total of 92 issues were traded on the day with 35 of the companies posting stock price gains.
