It is obvious that today's session on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) will not be positive, Detelin Yordanov, investment consultant at Optima Asset Management, told Profit.bg.

The low liquidity, the lack of confidence and the fear not only in Bulgaria but on the foreign capital markets as well, are pushing the stock prices down.

SOFIX's slide continues and company reports, including the positive results of the banking sector, show no support whatsoever, according to the expert.

Nevertheless, today's session will not be as negative as yesterday's, Yordanov forecast.

The week started with sell-offs yesterday. As a result, the SOFIX blue-chip index shed 4.77% of its value, to 273.11 points. The broader BG40 skidded 1.1% lower, to 90.09 points, which is an all-time low.
