Consolidation of BSE Indexes Early in June

Consolidation marked trade on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) in the first week of June, chief dealer at Investbank, told Profit.bg earlier today. Investor activity was extremely poor and there was a lack of corporate news and eventsover the last five days.
Today the indexes continued to fluctuate and the SOFIX blue-chip index ended th day down 0.16% at 378.97 points. The other three indexes closed in positive territory - BG40 (+0.65%, to 105.14 points) BG REIT (+0.28%, to 40.09 points), BG TR30 (+0.90%, to 283.24 points).
Chimimport was the most liquid stock on BSE over the week. The traded volume on the position exceeded 100,000 shares in the last few days. A total of 177,506 shares in the company changed hands today. The traded volume on the position of First Investment Bank totaled 321,117 shares.
The indexes posted weekly changes as follows: SOFIX (-0.15%), BG40 (+0.91%), BG REIT (-0.96%) and BG TR30 (+0.21%).
SOFIX is up by 5.66% in 2009, while BG TR30 has gained 3.82%. BG 40 is down by 2.48%, while BG REIT is losing 17.39%.
A total of 24 companies included in the calculation of BG40 posted stock price gains over the week. Oil & Gas Exploration & Production was BG40't top advancer over the week. The stock of the company appreciated by 8.56%, to 3.17 leva per share.
Elana Agricultural Land Opportunity Fund REIT followed. The average stock price of the company rose by 7,14% to 0.75 leva per share on a weekly basis.
Albena Invest Holding's stock is up by 5.78%, to 4.39 leva per share for the week.
