BSE Indexes Post Weekly Declines

Three of the four indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended the week with losses. The SOFIX slipped by 0.62%, to 371.05 points, while the broader BG40 shed 0.38%, to 104.05 points. BG TR30 also ended lower losing 0.92%, to 276.77 points. BG REIT was the only advancer on the day gaining 0.10%, to 40.00 points.
BSE's daily turnover came to 2.4 mln leva. The Unofficial bond market accounted for half of the figure. A total of 55 companies were traded on the day with 13 of the stock posting price gains.
None of the indexes, however, advanced on a weekly basis. Thus the weekly changes in the four indexes are as follows: SOFIX (-2.09%), BG40 (-1.04%), BG REIT (-0.22%) and BG TR30 (-2.28%).
The four indexes are also in negative territory since the start of June. SOFIX is down 2.24% for the month. The change in the other three indexes is as follows: BG40 (-0.13%), BGREIT (-1.19%)and BGTR30 (-2.08%).
The year-to-date performance of the indexes is as follows: SOFIX (+3.45%), BG40 (-3.49%), BG REIT (-17.58%) and BG TR30 (+1.45%).
A total of nine of the companies included in the calculation of the BG40 index posted weekly advances.
Bulgarska Roza-Sevtopolis was the strongest performer. The average stock price of the company rose by 5,71%, to 0.74 leva per share over the week.
Fazerles followed after the stock of the company appreciated by 5,10%, to an average price of 36.70 leva per share.
BenchMark Fund Estate is up by 4.65%, to an average of 0.45 leva per share.
