Globul H1'2009 Revenues At BGN 440 Million

Globul revenues for the first six months of 2009 reached BGN 440.2 million, up by 7.1% year-on-year.
Operating income before interest, depreciation and amortizations (OIBDA) for the period stood at BGN 171.4 million, a 2.2% increase on the year. The company's operating income reached BGN 77 million, compared to BGN 76.3 million for the corresponding period of 2008.
Globul revenues for the second quarter of 2009 stood at nearly BGN 227 million, up by 6.3% year-on-year while OIBDA for the second quarter reached BGN 90.5 million, compared to BGN 88.9 million for the same period last year.
As of June 30, 2009, Globul had nearly 4.1 million subscribers, up by 1.6% year-on-year. The company's post-paid subscribers increased by 8.1% on the year and stood at 2,046,778, representing more than 51% of Globul's total customer base.
Globul blended AMOU for the first half of the year reached 114 minutes, up by about 7.5% vs first half of 2008, as a result of increased pre-paid AMOU (up 28.8%). Globul preserved the same levels of blended ARPU in comparison to the same period last year, at BGN 17.60.
