The SOFIX blue-chip index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended today's session 0.13% up at 435.84 points. The broader BG 40 advanced by 0.88% to 118.00 points. BG REIT (-0.48%, to 47.28 points) and BG TR30 (-0.16%, to 334.53 points).

BSE's overall turnover came close to 613,000 leva. A total of 74 issues were traded on the day with 32 of the stocks posting price gains.

The weekly performance of the indexes is as follows: SOFIX (+1.16%), BG 40 (+1.48%) и BG TR30 (+0.64%). BG REIT was the only decliner for the week slipping by 1.56%.

Advancers since the start of the year include SOFIX (+2.01%) and BG 40 (+0.72%), while BG REIT (-1.52%) and BG TR30 (-0.09%) have lost part of their value.

A total of 23 of the 40 companies included in the calculation of the BG40 index posted weekly average stock price gain. The stock price of six of BG40's components remained unchanged over the week.

Alcomet was the best performer over the week. The stock of the company appreciated by 10.14% to an average of 3.15 leva per share.

FIBank (+8.15%, to 2.52 leva) and Euroins (+6.76%, to 1.58 leva per share).

The worst eprformers over the week were Petrol (-9.71%, to 5.58 leva per share), FairPlay Properties (-8.33%, to 0.44 leva per share) and Sparky Eltos (+6.38%, to 2.20 leva per share).
