A chief executive officer of a company on the domestic market earns between 90,000 to 220,000 euros in net amount a year, that is 7,500 to 18,300 euros per month, reveals a salary survey conducted by Stanton Chase Romania, completed at the end of April, cited by zf.ro.

However, managerial salaries can be even higher, considering the perks and bonuses that may be added to a monthly income, sometimes doubling or even tripling the figure.

The highest paid are bank managers, who earn 150,000 to 220,000 euros in net amount annually, that is 12,500 to 18,300 euros each month, complemented by various perks such as the use of a company car, phone, laptop, medical insurance covering the entire family, a private pension, travel expenses, education options or a cut of the profits.

The perks are offered across the entire market, and in some cases all of them are granted, while in others cases they remain negotiable. Second after banking services, come the telecom and IT&C managers, where a CEO makes 90,000 to 180,000 euros in net amount each year.

As for the employees next in the management line, the chief financial officers (CFO) are the second-highest paid individuals. A CFO in the retail or banking system earns an annual net salary of 80,000 to 130,000 euros, plus perks, with a lower level of annual pay for industry or IT&C and telecom CFOs, who earn between 60,000-120,000 euros a year.
