The strong performance of the indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) continued today as BG40 was the only decliner slipping by a mere 0.08% to 134.45 points.

SOFIX closed above the 450-point level for the first time since December 4, 2009. The indexes ended today's session 0.75% up to 451.56 points. Thus, SOFIX is up by 5.32% since the start of the week.

BGREIT and BGTR30 advanced by 0.04% and 0.02%, to 48.67 and 365.75 points, respectively.

BSE's overll turnover came to 2.13 mln leba on the day. A total of 83 issues were traded on Wednesday with 43 of the companies posting stock price gains.

Central Cooperative Bank advanced by 4.00% to 1.82 leva per share after 110 000 shares traded.

Sopharma was also among the day's gainers. The stock of the company appreciated by 1.38% after 26 506 shares traded.

Petrol's stock price plummeted by 10.53% 4.25 leva per share on the day.

A total of 4,810 shares in Enemona traded hands with the price of the stock going up by 2.13% to 7.19 leva per share.

EMKA ended the day 6.61% up at 3.89 leba, while the volume on the position amounted to nearly 23,000 shares.

Trace Group Hold was also among the day's decliners after the stock of the company depreciated by 2.43% to 94.15 leva per share.

A total of 131,083 shares in FairPlay Properties traded hands on Wednesday. The price of the stock went up by 3.73% to 0.33 leva per share.

The volume on the position of Bulgaria Real Estate Fund came to 184,534 shares,. The stock price of the company remained unchanged at 0.69 leva per share.
