The expansion of the Romanian Bigger Group advertising agency to Bulgaria, announced last month, will require an investment worth 200,000-300,000 euros in over the next three years, according to Bigger Group General Manager, Marcel Straut, standard.ro reported.

This year, Bigger Group will align standards in the two countries, and is not expecting profits.
The investment is due to be recovered only as of 2009, Straut said.

The agency is to enter the Bulgarian market by opening a branch in Sofia, in partnership with Bulgaria's VPR Advertising agency.

This is the first step by the company to develop its operations in the Balkans. Bigger Group also plans to expand to Serbia, Montenegro, and Albania.

Straut said the decision to enter the Bulgarian market was made due to the expansion of several Romanian companies on markets in the region.
