The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) is in for an event-rich week, Profit.bg’s calendar shows. Trade in the stock of newly-listed Europe Line Group, Unipharm, Balkan Progetti Management and City Properties REIT will kick off today.

The first three companies plan a secondary public offering of shares, while City Properties REIT will debut on BSE following its successful raise of the capital by the legally required 30%.

Tuesday is the final day for the acquisition of shares in Odessos Shiprepair Yard and Albena, which will allow shareholders to exercise their voting rights at the respective general meetings of the two companies.

The shareholders of the two companies will decide on the distribution of the profit for 2007.

Investors will be able to purchase shares in three companies this week, which will entitle them dividend rights. The last day for sealing deals in the stocks of M+S Hydraulic and Monbat is set for Wednesday (May 28), while the final date for sealing deals in Elhim Iskra’s stock is set for May 30 (Friday).

The general shareholders’ meeting of Corporate Commercial Bank will be held on Tuesday (May 27), while Toplivo and Emka’s shareholders will meet on Thursday.

The shareholders of the bank will put to vote a proposal for the allocation of the profit for 2007 to the Reserves fund, while Emka will raise its capital twofold with shareholders receiving one new share for each existing share.

The distribution of the profit for 2007, as well as the profit from previous years and the reserves will top the agenda of the general shareholders’ meeting of Toplivo.

The SOFIX blue-chip index advanced by 2.15% to 1,250.12 points last week, while the broader BG40 index added 4.65% to 348.42 points. BSE’s weekly trading turnover came to 43.994 mln leva.
