COSMOTE offers HSDPA mobile broadband services reaching rates up to 1.8 Mbps to all its customers throughout the coverage of its 3G network, thus covering around 75% of the Greek population. Cosmote’s upgraded 3G network, the largest mobile broadband network in Greece, is expanding all over the country offering coverage to urban areas, as well as regions in the periphery.

In order to effectively respond to the increased need for new and advanced value added services, Cosmote further enhances its 3G network broadband rates. In 3G coverage areas within Attica and Thessaloniki COSMOTE’s network supports HSDPA broadband services up to 3.6 Mbps, providing its customers with a wireless broadband experience of exceptionally high speed.

Access to Cosmote’s advanced 3G services becomes even simpler, as its customers can enjoy 3G services using their existing SIM or USIM card, as long as they have a 3G device and are within the company’s 3G network area of coverage. The company offers its 3G services to its entire client base, while its Video Call service is now among Cosmote’s basic services for all its contract and pre-paid customers.

It is reminded that in June 2006 Cosmote, first in the Greek market and among the first mobile operators in Europe, introduced HSDPA broadband technology. Cosmote will steadily continue investing in its network development aiming to provide high quality data services to all its customers.
