The indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) failed to find direction in a third straight session this week. The SOFIX shed 3.86% on Monday, advanced by 0.72% on Tuesday, only to slip again in today's session. Unlike last week, cautiousness seems to dominate trade on BSE this week.
The blue-chip index lost 0.50% today, closing at 437.73 points. The broader BG 40 skidded 0.44% lower, to 123.57 points, while BG REIT and BG TR30 shed 1.53 and 0.35%, to 41.11 and 327.16 points, respectively.
BSE's overall turnover came to nearly 1.5 mln leva, while the value of the over-the-counter deals stood at almost 2 mln leva as at 2:25 p.m. A total of 72 issues were traded on the day with 22 of the companies posting stock price gains.
Corporate Commercial Bank's stock appreciated by 4.46% to 53.90 leva per share on the day. The traded volume on the position came to 41 shares. The stocks of the other three actively traded banks ended the day as follows: Central Cooperative Bank (-2.24%, to 1.49 leva), First Investment Bank (-2.33%, to 2.89 leva) and Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (2.17%, to 13.50 leva).
Infrastructure stocks ended the day lower. Holding Roads closed 0.86% down at 3.69 leva per share, while Trace Group Hold and Moststroy shed 3.20% and 1.96%, to 72.10 leva and 5.00 leva per share, respectively. A total of 19,025 shares in Moststroy traded hands on the day.
Sopharma's stock price remained unchanged at 3.75 leva per share. Bulgaraska-Roza Sevtopolis' stock appreciated by 0.62%, to 1.13 leva per share. Medica's traded volume amounted to 35,735 shares on the day. The stock depreciated by 0.95%, to 1.98 leva per share.
Eurohold Bulgaria advanced by 1.81%, to 1.35 leva per share. A total of 39,256 shares in the company changed hands on the day. Eurions was among today's decliners slipping by 2.66%, to 1.58 leva per share.
Sparky Eltos' stock appreciated by 0.42%, to 2.38 leva per share, after 13,645 shares traded.
Enemona shed 3.54% on the day closing at 9.06 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to 11,180 shares.
