The four indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) got off to a strong start early in today' session but three of them ended the day lower.

Thus the four-day streak of gains came to a halt for the BG40 and the SOFIX indexes.

The SOFIX blue-chip index ended the day 1.63% lower at 1198.09 points. The BG40 index of the most traded stocks skidded 2.06% lower to 327.73 points. The BGTR30 index of best performers in total return also ended the day with a loss.

The index lost 1.03% to 803.11. The BG REIT index advanced by 0.13% to 94.77 points on the day.

A total of 133 stocks were traded on BSE today , while the daily turnover amounted to 6.81 mln leva. A total of 67 of the traded stocks ended the day higher. The value of the block deals and other registered trades stood at 3.09 mln leva.

A total of 137,963 shares in Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria traded hands on the day. The stock appreciated by 3.2% to an average of 2.58 leva per share. The price of stock has risen by nearly 23% since May 8.

First Investment Bank's stock appreciated by 7.25% to an average of 6.91 leva per share. The bank ranked second in terms of trading volume today with 128,386 shares traded.

Chimco and Chimimport ranked third and fourth, respectively. Chimimport's stock advanced by 1.56% to an average of 10.09 leva per share after a total of 70,971 shares in the company changed hands on the day.

Eurohold Bulgaria ended the day 1.12% higher at an average of 5.41 leva per share.

Billboard, which published its first quarter results yesterday, also ended the session on positive turf. The stock of the company added 2.96% to its value closing at an average of 11.49 leva per share. A total of 18 659 shares in the company traded hands in 72 transactions.

Central Cooperative Bank edged 0.39% up to an average of 5.12 leva per share after a total of 12,657 shares traded on the day.

Today Holding Roads was once again among BSE's liquid companies. The stock price of the company went up by 1.11% to an average of 974.94 leva per share.

Moststroy and Trace Group Hold registered over 100 deals each today. Moststroy closed 5.67% higher at 133.68 leva per share, while Trace Group Hold advanced by 0.4% to 124.47 leva per share.

A total of 11,695 shares in Monbat traded hands on the day. The stock closed 0.23% higher at 26.29 leva per share.

Petrol's stock appreciated by 2.78% to a new record high of 9.63 leva per share.

Unlike yesterday, M+S Hydraulic's stock ended today's session with gains. Thе company advanced by 2.93% to an average of 9.49 leva per share.
