Uncertainty has gripped trade on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE). Most indexes posted advances on Monday, but slipped on Tuesday. The SOFIX blue-chip index shed 1.24% to 379.35 points, which is its lowest level since January 20, 2011. BG 40 lost 0.18%, closing at 119.15 points.

BSE's overall turnover came to 2.71 mln leva. Trade in Eurobank EFG Bulgaria's bonds accounted for nearly 50% of the total figure.

A total of 50 000 shares in Bulgartabac-Holding changed hands on the day. The turnover on the position came to 1.15 mln leva. The stock of the company appreciated by 4.55% to 23 leva per share.

Chimiport's coomo stok depreciated by 5.41% to 2.307 leva per share. CCB (-1.84%, to 1.065 leva) and FIBank (-0.79%, to 2.52 leva) were also among Tuesday's decliners.

A total of 49 issues were traded on Tuesday with 16 of the companies posting stock price gains.
