The consolidation of the indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), which continued throughout February, ended with new declines as of the beginning of March. Even today three of BSE's four indexes closed the session with losses.

The broader BG40 index registered the highest decrease of 3.16% to 365.01 points. The SOFIX blue-chip index followed with a 1.14-percent decline to 1333.51 points.

The BG TR30 index of best performers in total return closed 0.92% down at 853.79 points. The BG REIT index ended the day with a 0.12-percent gain at 98.79 points. The changes in the structure of the indexes will come into effect as of March 13 (Thursday).

BSE's trading turnover amounted to 25.8 million leva today. Deals were sealed on 136 positions. A total of 30 of the companies closed higher. The high turnover figure may be put down to the active trade in corporate bonds, which accounted for nearly 17 mln leva of the total turnover.

Agro Finance REIT was the most traded stock on BSE today (585,216 shares) data of Profit.bg's newly launched Quotes section shows. A total of 100,046 shares in Advance Terrafund REIT traded hands on the day. Elana Agricultural Land Opportunity Fund ranked third in terms of turnover with 77,272 shares traded.

A total of 181 deals on the position of Chimimport were sealed making it BSE's most liquid stock for the day. Trace Group Hold and Eurohold Bulgaria followed with 159 and 134 transactions, respectively. All three stocks closed the day with losses. Trace registered the biggest decline of 7.46% to an average of 133.64 leva per share.

Chimimport's stock price went down by 2.16% to an average of 9.97 leva per share. Eurohold's stock depreciated by 2.06% to an average of 5.22 leva per share.

Druzhba AD of Razgrad (+27.05%) was BSE's biggest gainer on the day, while Skladova Tehnika (-29.38%) was the biggest decliner. The remaining companies in the ranking may be seen at Profit.bg's Quotes section.

Nearly all companies traded on BSE's Official market ended Tuesday's session with losses. Orgachim (-4.34% to 415.28 leva per share.) and Bulgarian River Shipping (-4.45% to 5.15 leva per share) registered the biggest declines.

Despite the prevailing declines, some of the stocks traded on the Official market managed to end the day with gains. Petrol's stock appreciated by 5.11% to an average of 4.94 leva per share despite the involuntary mistake in early trade when the orders on the position were erased.

Odessos Ship Repair Yard's stock price advanced by 0.45% to 261.77 leva per share, while Albena Invest Holding's stock edged 0.36% up to an average of 16.94 leva per share.

Agria got off to a poor start in its stock exchange debut after the stock of the company lost 12.39% of its value closing at 7.92 leva per share, below the IPO price of the shares.
