Unipak Plans to Invest 400 000 leva in 2007
In 2007 Unipak AD- Pavlikeni is planning to increase its production by approximately 150 tonnes and thus the ready production value will go up by 1.1 mln leva. The company plans to invest a total of 400 000 leva in quality improvement and in securing its production program.
393 500 leva were invested in Unipak in 2006 and in the previous 2005 and 2004 the company invested respectively 183 000 and 82 000.
In 2006 Unipak AD sold 2921 tonnes of production worth 9.3 mln leva while in 2005 they sold 3996 tonnes costing 10.56 mln leva. In the last three years the company used 35-45 percent of their production capacity.
For the past fiscal year Unipak reported a loss of 523 000 leva while the year before they reported a profit of 410 000.
Fort JSC owns 48.95 percent of the capital of the company and International Packaging Ltd and The Ministry of Economy and Energy own respectively 39.61 and 2.15 percent.
The company’s shares were last traded on BSE- Sofia on March 28th at BGN 52.00.
