Austria’s ambassador to Bulgaria Karl Diem attended the ceremony marking the completion of the rough construction activities at the first houses in the Sofia Sky residential complex. The complex is the first Bulgarian project of Austria’s RE Project Development, a subsidiary of Raiffeisen Evolution GmbH, Vienna.

The leading architect of Sofia Sky is one of Austria’s best architects, Franz Janz from the Hoffman & Janz architectural studio in Vienna. The Bulgarian architect of the project is Hristo Hristov from Sofia-based Hristov & Sons.

Sofia Sky is a residential complex situated in the foot of the Vitosha mountain, in Simeonovo district. The project value is 17 mln euro. The complex will have a total of 106 houses and apartments which will be ready in two stages – in the spring and fall of 2008.

Raiffeisen Evolution Project Development GmbH is a real estate company based in Vienna. It has operations in Austria, Central and Eastern Europe. Its portfolio includes residential and office buildings, as well as hotels, commercial and specialized shopping centers and buildings with combined use.
