The investment portfolio of Agro Finance REIT (

) has reached 40,250 decares on 31 August, the company told BSE. The company has invested some 8,496 leva in land acquisition, the average price stands at 210 leva/decare (adjusted for all acquisition costs).

95.6% of the portfolio consists if category 1- 6 arable land. Most of the plots acquired in August fall into category 3-5.

Most of the land in the company's portfolio (83.6% or 33,787 decares) belongs to categories 3 to 5.

8.1% (3,280 decares) of the terrains fall into category 6, and 1,774 decares, or 4.4%, in category 7-10.

1,584 decares belong to categories 1 and 2.

The company is interested primarily in the north-west region of the country, where it owns a total of 18,530 decares, in the the north-central part of the country (12,069 decares), and the north-east (6.197 decres).

Nearly 97.5% of the land is arable and the company is currently in the process of renting or leasing it. Agro Finance plans to lease out 60% of the acquired land during the agricultural 2007-2008.

No transactions involving the company's stock have been made on the BSE so far today.
