Winslow Developments' Project Value Exceeds 600 Mln Euros

The total value of the investments in the projects that are currently being implemented by Winslow Developments or are considered by the company in the future exceeds 600 mln euros, the company said.
Winslow Developments and RREEF, the investment unit of Deutsche Bank AG, established a real estate investment company in 2006. The move was aimed at the implementation of several large-scale projects in Bulgaria.
The first two of these projects were for the setting up of gated residential complexes in Sofia's Manastirski Livadi and Vitosha districts. The investments in two projects amount to over 280 mln leva.
The third and most recent project of the company was for the construction of a residential complex at the foot of the Lyulin mountain in Bankya's Gradoman residential district. The total investment in the project stands at 252 mln leva.
The company has implemented a total of seven projects in the mountain resort of Bankso so far with a total value of over 60 mln euros. The largest project was for the construction of an apartment complex, which comprises three buildings and was built on an 11,000-m2 plot.
Winslow Developments signed a contract in the spring of 2007 for the implementation and the management of a project in the village of Banya. The value of the project, which is owned by UK's Lewis Charles Property Fund, will exceed 200 mln leva.
Winslow Developments also invests in arable land and agriculture. The company owns over 1,500 ha of arable land and plans to buy further 3,000 ha of land in 2008.
