On Monday Bulgarian brokers told Profit.bg they expect the market recovery to be a slow one, as most participants right now are speculators rather than investors with long term goals.

SOFIX ended down today braeking a series of advances. The blue chips lost 0.61% to 1268.74 points. BGREIT fell 0.54% to 95.04 points and BGTR30 slipped 0.35% to 842.41. BG40 was the only climbing indicator today, adding 0.37% to 356.99 points.

We saw a similar situation a week ago when SOFIX slipped 1.63% after four consecutive winning trade days (May 9 – 13).

BSE's total turnover stood at 9.04 million leva (4.6 mln euros). 91 out of 144 active issues closed on positive territory. The value of block and other agreed transactions came to 1.22 mln leva.

Two blue chips declined today – Euroins and Sopharma. The insurer lost 1.47% to an average of 9.38 leva at a turnover of 4,825 shares, while the pharmaceutical company declined 0.98% after 5,271 shares changed hands at an average of 6.06 leva.

Orgachim, Lead and Zinc Complex and Industrial Holding Bulgaria saw gains larger than 3% today. Orgachim added 3.69% to 394.87 leva. There were also transactions at 414 leva.

Lead and Zinc Complex climbed 3.54% to 46.18 leva and Industrial Holding Bulgaria gained 3.16% to 7.83 leva apiece.

The banks' stocks within SOFIX were also traded on positive territory today. Central Cooperative Bank appreciated by 2.53% to 5.68 leva and FIBank gained 2.18% to 7.5 leva.

Corporate Commercial Bank rose 1.43% to 87.25 leva. Bulgarian American Credit Bank eked 0.16% to 64.37 leva.

Investors' interest was once again highest with the infrastructural companies. This may be attributed to the expressed determination by the Government to complete important infrastructural projects.

Holding Roads added 3.85% to an average of 1,172.9 leva and Trace Group Hold closed at 166.61, which is 3.98% up from opening.

Moststroy stock appreciated by 5.08% to 165.79 leva. The last two companies were also the most liquid ones on BSE today.

Next are Chimimport, Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria and Monbat. Chimimport boosted its market capitalization by 0.55% after the stock climbed to an average of 11.08 leva apiece. Monbat rose 0.78% to 27.17 leva and Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria gained 3.6% to 2.88 leva.
