Speculators pushed Kremikovtzi's stock price up almost to the daily maximum limit.

At 11.35h this morning bids for 17,000 shares were placed at 2.171 leva, which is also the 30% allowed daily surge.

Earlier today, at 9.30h, the stock was traded at 1.69 leva, which is the lowest ever for the position.

The stock price was falling sharply in the past few days in view of the expected insolvency procedures.

Some 71,000 shares have changed hands on BSE so far today.

Main shareholders are Finmetals Holding controlling 71% and the Ministry of Economy and Energy (25.29%).
