Only nine of the 40 companies included in the calculation of the BG40 index saw over 100 deals each last week, Profit.bg data show.

Chimimport topped the ranking with 290 transactions last week. Eurohold Bulgaria and Monbat followed with over 200 deals each.

Lead & Zinc Complex, First Investment Bank (FIBank), Moststroy, Doverie United Holding, Stara Planina Hold and Toplivo saw over 100 transactions each last week.

Lomsko Pivo and Holding Varna recorded nine transactions each, while the number of deals sealed in Petrol's stock stood at only five.

Chugunoleene was not traded last week. The poor interest may be attributed to the fact that the stock is registered on segment B of BSE's Unofficial Market where the trade continues only 15 minutes daily.

Central Cooperative Bank (1.995 mln leva) and Corporate Commercial Bank (1.129 mln leva) were the only companies boasting trading turnovers of over 1 mln leva last week.

A total of 2,921 deals to a total value of 10.58 mln leva were sealed in BG40's stocks last week, compared to 3,231 transactions for 11.08 mln leva sealed a week earlier.
