BSE Turnover Hits Record Low on Monday
The turnover on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) hit a record low on Monday. The value of the deals sealed on BSE amounted to 1.42 mln leva. A total of 96 issues were traded on BSE today with 36 of them posting gains. The value of the over-the-counter trades exceeded 560,000 leva.
BSE's all four indexes ended the day in negative territory. The SOFIX blue-chip index slipped by 0.22% to 1,035.67 points, while the broader BG40 skidded 0.76% lower to 256.07 points.
The BG REIT index closed 0.57% down at 87.06 points, while the BG TR30 index of best performers in total return edged 0.4% down to 672.16 points.
Monbat, Lead & Zinc Complex and Doverie United Holding were among BSE's winners today. A total of 24,714 shares in Monbat changed hands on the day. The stock appreciated by 3.75% while its average value stood at 11.15 leva per share.
Doverie United Holding advanced by 6.14% after 4,646 shares traded. The average price of the stock settled at 5.95 leva per share.
Lead & Zinc Complex also posted a gain today. The stock of the company appreciated by 3.84% after 1,002 shares traded. The average price of the stock stood at 29.92 leva per share.
Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) ended the day on negative turf. The stock of the company depreciated by 2.5%. A total of 13,097 shares on the position traded hands, while the average value of the stock came to 3.77 leva per share.
Stara Planina Hold edged 0.02% lower on the day. The average price of the stock stood at 4.43 leva per share, while the daily trading volume on the position amounted to 6,370 shares. The company reported earlier today 5.18 mln leva consolidated profit for the first half of the year, which represents a 16-percent year on year increase.
Decotex was among the advancers on the Unofficial Market. The stock of the company appreciated by 4.76% after 46,727 shares traded. The average price of the shares settled at 1.13 leva apiece.
Eurohold Bulgaria ended the day 0.06% higher. The average price of the stock settled at 4.86 leva per share, while the turnover on the position came to 12,079 shares.
Industrial Capital Holding ended the day 0.23% higher at an average price of 7.52 leva per share.
